International Students meeting
International Students meeting this Thursday, 20th February at 6pm.
This evening is great fun! We have a number of students join us from a selection of language schools, along with a few other international visitors from the Bournemouth and Boscombe area. It's an action packed evening which typically includes :-
Enjoying a meal- We start the evening off with a meal. These are prepared by a number of different teams, many of themselves coming from different countries too. So there is often an international flavour to the meals. The meals have one thing in common though. They are all delicious!
Learning some idioms- As well as the context of the whole evening being an opportunity to learn and practice conversational English there is also a short lesson. This is normally idioms but sometimes may be in the form of a quiz or some other way to engage with the language.
Worshipping God- One of our church worship leaders lead us in a short time of singing. As well as being another way of interacting with the English language it gives an opportunity to meet with God in a special way.
Listening to God- After the time of worship someone will give a short talk from the Bible. This is very engaging and geared to people whose first language is not English.
Tea and coffee- We close the evening with refreshments: tea, coffee and a little cake. This is a great time to relax and chat to people from all around the world.
Why don't you come along? It's a great evening! why not try one of the following dates: 6th February; 20th February; 6th March; 20th March....

Free Christian drama sketches, including Easter themed!
http://www.richmondparkchurch.org.uk/drama-scripts.html
We are providing this as a free resource for other Christian drama groups, as the aim of these works is to spread the good news of life with God, and it would be a shame for them to be performed only once and then sit unused in a folder somewhere! However, we do include the following copyright notice on each script:
© Copyright Michelle Fogg, all rights reserved. This script may be performed free of charge, on the condition that copies are not sold for profit in any medium, including books, CDs and on the Internet. Authorship of Michelle Fogg should be acknowledged on any free copies made richmondparkchurch.org.uk/ This © Copyright notice must remain with this document at all times.
Feel free to adapt the scripts to best suit your drama group. If you are looking for a sketch to go with a particular theme or scripture, by using the "Search" function and entering, for example, "Matthew", or "perseverance", you will be given a list of all the mentions of that theme or scripture on the Richmond Park Church website and will quickly be able to identify if there are any sketches matching that criteria.
Enjoy!

Worship Dance Conference
8th-10th February 2013
It is with great joy that we would like to invite you to a dance conference held at Green Pastures Christian retreat and Prayer Centre in Poole, Dorset.
This dance conference will be especially geared towards people who have little or no dance experience or people who love to dance but do not generally have the opportunity.
In our main sessions (starting on Friday evening) we will be learning a selection of worship and Messianic dances. On Saturday afternoon there will be a choice of workshops, and we will end on Sunday morning with a big dance celebration. In between the dance sessions there will be time to chat, rest, eat, and enjoy each other’s company and the Lord’s Presence.
Please note the conference is only suitable for people aged 16 and over.
