As a place to live, Bournemouth ("Bomo"?!) is now famed for it's pubs and clubs (in good ways and bad!), as well as it's award winning beach, and this is an added appeal to many in choosing to come here.

There are only four accredited Chiropractic Schools in the UK, and one of them, the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, is right here in Boscombe! Bournemouth & Poole College offers a wide variety of further education courses for school leavers and mature students - including BTECs, AS and A levels, and many vocational courses - but also now runs higher education courses.

You may not know it, but we have always had a UK Students Page on the church website, hidden away under New to Boscombe? We have now beefed it up and put more links to it around the website. Obviously, we don't have ANY UK students at RPC right now, and therefore nothing specifically for them, but Mark has had it on his heart that we COULD be a UK student friendly church, and I have joined him in this vision.

Richmond Park Church is a relaxed Bible-focused independent church situated in Boscombe (a 10 minute walk from McDonalds). We've got a congregation of around 60 people, meaning we're not so small that we've only got one row of chairs, but we're not so big that you get lost in the crowd!

Michelle and Mark are ready and waiting to greet UK students to Richmond Park Church! Mark graduated with a degree in Drama from Winchester Uni in 2008, and Michelle graduated from the University of Kent many many years ago, in 1995, with a degree in History and Politics. Both are missing their student days and would like to re-live the experience vicariously through an influx of 18 to 30's at RPC. They remember the highs and lows of student life, love Jesus, and would love to share their great wealth of wisdom and knowledge about the Christian walk with other eager young minds.
