If you are looking for a sketch to go with a particular theme or scripture, by clicking on "Search" from the main menu (or typing straight into the Search... box, top right hand corner) and entering, for example, "Matthew", or "perseverance", you will be given a list of all the mentions of that theme or scripture on the Richmond Park Church website and will quickly be able to identify if there are any sketches matching that criteria.

Enjoy!

We are providing this as a free resource for other Christian drama groups, as the aim of these works is to spread the good news of life with God, and it would be a shame for them to be performed only once and then sit unused in a folder somewhere! However, we do include the following copyright notice on each script:

The puppet song lyrics were written in the early days of puppetry at Richmond Park Church when we were using two orange felt mouths with eyes and floppy ears, only distinguishable from each other as one had a pretty blue bow! That puppet is called Happy, and has the fresh, bright, enthusiastic personality of Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music. Her bubbliness and joy is counter-balanced by Mopy, who's a bit skeptical and naughty, and sings in an out of tune sort of squeaky Lancastrian accent! Hence the format in the songs of the two bouncing off each other, but you can make of them what you will!

What Are You Feeding (Your Mind) On?

Written by Michelle Fogg

Title: What Are You Feeding On?

Summary: This sketch is about what we fill our minds with. We should be "feeding" off the Word of God (Matthew 4:4) but we can easily spend more time watching TV, reading a newspaper, or even reading Christian books - not all these things are necessarily bad, but they are no substitute for reading your Bible. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him (Matthew 12:35)
